MOSCOW, Apr 17 (PRIME) -- The Russian communications service thwarted two DDoS attacks on its Internet services earlier on Tuesday, a spokesperson told PRIME.
“Two DDoS attacks on official Internet resources of Russia’s Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media were detected on April 17 at night and in the morning,” the spokesperson said.
“According to the statement by Rostelecom (state-controlled telecom operator), the attacks were successfully thwarted, the Internet resources of the service are working normally.”
